Gundam's next booster set, Stardust Trail, is out October 30.
Gundam ZZ and 0083 Stardust Memory show up in the game for the first time.
135 cards plus 8 tokens, with 12 Legend Rares.
12 cards a pack, $4.99 a pack.
Six sets in, is Gundam a real third game at your shop or still a shelf filler next to One Piece?

Wizards put out advice for shops on Magic God Packs at WPN events.
In limited events, call a judge or TO over when one gets opened.
Their suggestion: pull the pack, let the player keep the cards, and hand them a fresh booster from the same set for free.
Casual drafts can leave it in, since it gets drafted one card at a time.
At RCs and the Pro Tour, God Packs always get pulled and replaced.
Shops, are you eating a free booster every time someone rips a God Pack, or letting it ride in the pool?

A PSA 8 1997 Gold First Place Trophy Pikachu already has pre-bids over $1 million with buyer's premium.
It's the only copy in the PSA census.
It headlines Goldin's Pokémon 30th Anniversary auction, which starts October 15.
Also in there: a PSA 10 2000 Black Star Eevee League promo, a BGS Pristine 10 Skyridge Gengar and a sealed 2005 EX Deoxys booster box.
Mudkip went for $3.72 million last month. Does the only graded Trophy Pikachu clear $5 million, or is the Pokémon run about to cool off?

Mystery Booster Commander Edition is finally getting a wider release, but only as a Secret Lair drop.
Until now you could only get it at convention events.
Preorders open October 19 and the drop retails for $249.99.
Each pack is 20 cards, including a reprinted commander, a new-to-Magic commander and a playtest card.
Displays come with 24 packs.
Should this have gone through game stores, or is selling the fun stuff direct just how Magic works now?

Wizards is rerunning the Secret Lair x MSCHF Zeta Set sale for one day, December 9.
Every order in that 24 hours gets filled, but those ship in the back half of 2027.
It's to make up for the first sale, where people sat in the queue for hours after it had already sold out.
If you got in the first time, you still get it on schedule, November 5 in the US.
One day of unlimited orders: smart fix, or did Wizards just kill what made the Zeta Set worth chasing?

Azuki TCG's second set, Fractured Domains, is out November 20.
163 cards, four starter decks, and a new Relic Hunter Box with 6 packs and 2 promos.
They're starting a Premier Store program too.
To qualify you run a weekly local five weeks straight, 10 or more players each night, 32 different players total.
Is a new TCG worth a weekly night in your store, or is that slot better spent on One Piece or Riftbound?

A PSA 10 Raincoat Pikachu promo just sold for $8.4 million with fees on Fanatics Collect.
That's the second most expensive Pokémon card ever, behind Logan Paul's $16.4 million Illustrator.
The same card sold for $19,200 in June 2025.
Only 100 were made and it was never sold in stores.
$19,200 to $8.4 million in about 15 months: real demand, or a few rich guys bidding each other up?

Pokémon's next set, Mega Evolution Delta Reign, is out everywhere November 6.
Prereleases with Build & Battle Boxes start October 24 at select Play! Pokémon stores.
The first Pokémon Center preorder wave for displays, ETBs and bundles sold out about as fast as it opened.
After what 30th Celebration did to singles, are you ordering Delta Reign deeper or lighter?

A 2015 Art Academy Daisuke Ochiai Mudkip promo in PSA 10 sold for $3,720,000 at Fanatics.
Only 100 exist, and just 3 are PSA 10.
Four days earlier a Gold Star Mudkip PSA 10 sold for $1,020,000, the first Mudkip ever over a million.
Now it's the most valuable Mudkip ever by a mile.
$3.72 million for a Mudkip: would you rather own this or a PSA 10 1st Edition Charizard?

Pokemon 30th Celebration singles are tanking after release.
Special Illustration cards are down 40 to 50%.
The rare Pikachu illustration cards are down over 80%.
Higher hit rates and too much supply are getting the blame.
One flipper says they grabbed over 2,000 from Pokemon Center, Walmart, Amazon, Target and Best Buy.
Flippers getting burned: best thing for Pokemon in years, or a warning for anyone sitting on sealed?
